Let me show you how I create powerful, cinematic videos for brands — using AI tools and a streamlined creative workflow.
Recently, I worked on a commercial for HALCHIMY – Revolutionary Watches for Those Who Think BIG.
The result? A stylish, punchy video — created faster and at a fraction of the cost of traditional production.
Here’s the AI design workflow I used — step by step:
Step-by-Step AI Video Workflow for Product Design
1. Midjourney — Image Creation
I start with Midjourney to generate the base visuals.
Using a well-crafted prompt and a reference image, I guide the style and lighting to match the desired atmosphere.
AI-generated art sets the tone. Think product film meets high-fashion editorial.
2. Photoshop — Product Packshot Integration
Next, I add the real product image — in this case, a luxury watch from HALCHIMY — directly into the AI-generated environment.
Why not use AI for this part too?
Because tools like ChatGPT’s image editor still degrade key details (like the dial).
For precision and polish, manual touch-ups remain king.
⚠️ Detail matters — especially for high-end products like watches.
3. Higgfield — Bullet Time Animation
Once the image is ready, I use Higgfield to animate it.
This tool creates a “bullet time” effect, adding movement and drama without needing 3D software or cameras.
Dynamic motion, AI-powered — no film crew required.
4. Topaz AI — Upscale and Enhance
I finish with Topaz AI to upscale the video.
This gives the final render that cinematic sharpness, even at high resolutions.
Current Limitations (And How to Push Further)
Despite the power of this stack, some challenges remain.
🔍 Detail loss in the watch dial is still a problem. To fix it:
-
Rebuild the dial in 3D, or
-
Train a custom video model with precise watch assets.
This is where traditional 3D design and AI workflows merge — and where true creative power begins.
AI Doesn’t Replace Designers. It Empowers Us.
This project is a perfect example of what I believe:
AI doesn’t replace our work — it amplifies it.
It gives us the ability to:
-
Create faster
-
Experiment more freely
-
Produce visually impactful content — even as solo creators or small studios
The future of design and video production is not about choosing between traditional tools and AI.
💡 It’s about fusing them together.
